Privacy Notice

A focused notice for business inquiries: what we collect, why we need it, who supports the process and how you stay in control.

1. Who we are and scope

This Privacy Notice explains how RETASYS, a retail intelligent systems business operating from Israel, handles personal information collected through this Website and its pilot-request form. RETASYS acts as the controller for this information.

This Notice does not govern customer data processed inside a RETASYS pilot or production service. That processing will be governed by the applicable commercial agreement and data processing terms.

2. Information we collect

Inquiry information: name, company, work email, the retail challenge or message you submit, and related correspondence.

Technical information: hosting and security systems may process IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, requested pages, referral data and security events needed to deliver and protect the Website.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information, confidential customer data, payment data, passwords or government identifiers through the form.

3. How and why we use information

We use personal information to:

  • receive, assess and respond to pilot, partnership and business inquiries;
  • schedule follow-up discussions and maintain relevant business correspondence;
  • operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the Website;
  • prevent abuse, fraud and security incidents;
  • establish, exercise or defend legal claims; and
  • comply with applicable law.

Where applicable, our legal bases are taking steps at your request before entering a contract, our legitimate interests in developing and protecting our business, consent where specifically requested, and compliance with legal obligations.

4. What we do not do

We do not sell or rent form information. We do not use the content of pilot-request forms to train general-purpose models. We do not use your inquiry for unrelated automated marketing unless you separately opt in, and we do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you solely by automated means through this Website.

5. Service providers and disclosure

We disclose information only as reasonably necessary to:

  • hosting, infrastructure, security and communications providers supporting the Website;
  • FormSubmit, which relays submitted form content to our designated inbox;
  • professional advisers under confidentiality obligations;
  • authorities or other parties where required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety and security; and
  • a successor in a merger, financing, reorganisation or sale, subject to appropriate protections.

Providers may process information only for the services they perform for us and under their own applicable legal obligations.

6. International transfers

RETASYS operates from Israel and uses providers that may process information in other countries. Where required, we use lawful transfer mechanisms and appropriate safeguards. Israel has been recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of protection for personal data transferred from the EEA.

7. Retention

We generally retain inquiry information for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction, then delete or anonymise it, unless a longer period is needed for an active opportunity, contract, legal obligation, dispute or security purpose. Technical security records are retained only for the period reasonably necessary for operations and protection. We periodically review whether continued retention is necessary.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information, including access controls, minimisation and trusted service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent, and to complain to a competent supervisory authority. Israeli law also provides rights of access and correction in applicable circumstances.

Send requests to edi@retasys.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority. Rights are subject to legal exceptions, and withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

RETASYS does not currently use advertising cookies or behavioural tracking on this Website. The hosting and form-delivery services may use strictly necessary technical mechanisms for security, delivery and abuse prevention. If we later introduce non-essential analytics or advertising technologies, we will update this Notice and provide choices where required.

11. Children

The Website and pilot programme are intended for business professionals and are not directed to children. Do not submit personal information if you are under 18. If we learn that we collected a child’s information inappropriately, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this Notice prospectively to reflect changes in the Website, providers or law. We will post the revised effective date and provide additional notice where required. We will not retroactively use existing information for materially incompatible purposes without appropriate notice or consent.
